Is Locomate free?
Yes. Locomate is free to download and use for shoppers and visitors.
Which malls is Locomate available at?
Locomate is live at Inorbit Mall and R City Mall, with more malls on the way. If you'd like your mall added, get in touch with us.
Do I need GPS or internet to use it?
GPS is unreliable indoors, so Locomate doesn't depend on it for routes. You do need a data or Wi-Fi connection to load venue maps, live offers and friend updates.
How does indoor positioning work?
Scan the Locomate QR code at a mall entrance to set your starting point. From there the app combines the mall's map with your phone's motion sensors to show your progress along the route.
Who can see my location when I find friends?
Only people you've connected with as friends, and only if you turn location sharing on. It's opt-in, and you can switch it off any time in Settings.
Can Locomate remind me where I parked?
Yes. Save your parking spot when you arrive and Locomate will guide you back to it when you're ready to leave.
How can my mall join Locomate?
